Canon 7D: Built for the Adventurous

Lauren Rodriquez had the opportunity to shoot with the Canon 7D to see if this DSLR met her expectations.
“The Canon 7D is an amazing camera that Canon released in the Fall of 2009. It is an 18 megapixel camera that has ISO capabilities up to 6400. The 7D also does HD movies in 1080p at 24 fps. The fast focusing speed and the 8 frames per second in continuous shooting allows you to capture the memories as they happen. You will never miss a second of the action with this camera. The magnesium alloy chassis and the weather- sealing come in handy for the less then perfect times when you are caught in the rain or maybe you are an adventurous photographer who enjoys extreme sports. The HD Video quality is impressive at high ISO 1600 & 3200. Also images at High ISO are impeccable too. Canon also added a new Zone Auto-focus feature allowing you to focus on a section of the frame versus one point or whichever object is closest. The Canon 7D is a fantastic camera that has exceeded all of my expectations.”
